About the Journey
I have had a long career as a technology management professional and business development specialist. Throughout over 20 years in financial services, I have managed global projects and performed business analysis, project management and strategic planning over a wide range of products and services. Post career, I have intensified my focus on health and wellness. After a Prostate Cancer diagnosis in 2009, I embarked on a formidable running career to prove to myself that I am better than what a disease tells me I am. I completed all 6 major marathons and in addition, became a certified personal trainer, Road Runners Certified Running Coach and a IIN Certified Holistic Health Coach. This has been the most rewarding time of my life as I encouraged, assisted and influenced many friends, co-workers, family and others to focus on their health and make necessary lifestyle changes. This shift led to the formation of the concept of Prosperous-Lifestyle, where I provide guidance in any way I can, and share information and experiences with participants in finding the healthy balance for achieving optimal health within the mind and body. Along the way, I learn so much about and from those I interact with which allows mutual growth and enjoyment through achieving goals and benefits from creating wellness.
Thinking about the challenges faced by a life-threatening disease, it remains paramount that we never stop seeking to give our bodies the best possible chance to fight any and every threat which may appear. This is a continuous act, a modus operandi, a lifestyle which endures and requires focus on all levels. This being considered, perfection will not be our result or our goal, however our quest will be for greatness and our claim will be a formidable effort littered with perseverance and grit. Will we fall…of course, falter…most likely, however if we continue, we will prevail. And then, We Prosper.
